2.Ford used to make airplanes
Henry Ford and his son Edsel invested in the Stout Metal Airplane Company, and that business venture really sparked interest, so they decided to buy the whole firm in the end. They produced few versions of the same design. The airplane had three engines and was made from corrugated aluminum. They were called Ford Trimotors, and the production started in 1925, but it ended in 1933 due to the death of Henry’s personal pilot. The pilot lost his life on a test flight, as a result, Ford decided to pull out of the whole thing.
