The Tucker ’48 is a notorious vehicle, but it is very popular among collectors. The carmaker called Preston Tucker produced only 51 of these models in Chicago, but they were involved in a stock fraud scandal which went nationwide. Even though Preston Tucker got acquitted, the company could never recover.
