One of these stories comes from Newport Convertible Engineering (NCE) where they decided to get a Ford F-150 and transform it into a convertible. The video we have here shows the F-150 convertible and its new soft top which can be folded. Although you might not be a fan of this idea, you have to give credit to this creativity and ingenuity.

We still do not have any statements from the NCE engineering team, but we might have something soon. Nevertheless, some changes are obvious like canvas roof that folds down behind the seats while the body rigidity had to be improved with the addition of a roll bar. This is normal move since when you remove roof the body is weakened, so this needs to be compensated somehow. Other than that, who knows what structural changes the vehicle had to undergo to become a convertible.
How much will it cost you to have this custom job on your F-150? That information is still unknown, although prepare yourself to spend some serious money on it.
