How fast is it?
Like we said, not that fast. The original car took a little over 40 seconds to reach 40 mph, and throughout the years the 2CV slowly got faster and faster. By the end, it could crack 60 mph in, what everyone liked to joke about, a day. The simple fact of the matter is that the 2CV was able to comfortably cruise at 30 mph all day long with or without passengers onboard. Some people liked to swap in the bigger GS flat-four into the 2CV, including James Bond in ‘For Your Eyes Only.’
