Messi’s incredible sportscar collection 2019

1. 2014 Maserati GranTurismo S

As you can see Messi actually chose his cars in a manner in which they best reflect his style. This is a second Maserati in his collection, and we can see that he likes fast, sleek and elegant machines. Could it be because, on the field with a soccer ball at his feet, he actually looks like one as well? Maybe, you be the judge of that.

But let’s get back on his GranTurismo S. This 4-wheel machine is arguably one of those that have the most stylish exterior and an impressive interior. Guys over at Maserati outdid themselves with this one mainly because it offers a near to perfect driving position which makes controlling it fun and easy. It boasts with a Ferrari-sourced 4.7 L V8 engine that is capable of producing 454 HP and 384 lb-ft of torque. It is enough to make it run from 0-60 in just 4.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 301 Km/h. The Ferrari sourced engine is paired to a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission, but Maserati decided to offer a 6-speed sequential robotic transmission as an option. Price tag – $126,500.

Taking into consideration the fact that Messi is one of the highest paid football players did any of these awesome cars actually surprised you? I know I was surprised with the lack of more expensive or luxurious models, but hey, tastes and personal preferences cannot be discussed. Just an FYI, Messi’s net worth was estimated to be around £230 million, which is beyond remarkable.

He is still a young player and he still has a lot of time ahead which is why we believe that his personal wealth will just get bigger and bigger. With that, of course, we hope and think that his car collection will grow as well, and we are pretty sure that in the future we will be writing about a luxury SUV or possibly a private jet or something like that. Try and predict what his next purchase might be, I know we have a pool going.
