Japanese manufacturer unveiled the latest, improved versions of its two models for the European market. Avensis and Auris now come with upgraded Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system with 7-inch touchscreen, modified menu, and improved interface said in the company.
New Toyota Avensis and Auris
The new navigation system is a standard part of equipment in versions which are equipped with this multimedia system. Toyota also allows free map updates and online information about fuel prices at gas stations, weather, traffic conditions and available parking in a period of three years.
Auris customers will be able to choose between three petrol and two types of diesel options. Petrol options include a 1.6-liter engine with 130 hp, 1.8-liter with 145 hp and 2.0-liter engine with 150 hp. As for the diesel’s versions, there is 1.6 version with 110 hp and 2.0 with 141 hp.
There is new exterior shades – Platinum Bronze (both Avensis and Auris receive this), as well as new 16-inch aluminum rims. Just like any other car maker, Toyota, wants to keep its offer fresh and interesting. As far as the Auris, there is a new Solid Blue exterior color.
Toyota claims that the improved propulsion systems on Auris Hybrid and Auris Touring Sports Hybrid models improve performances, but in that way that it does not affect fuel economy.
Motorization of other versions in the Auris lineup remains unchanged.
