10 Best Pontiac Trans Am appearances in movies

3. Hooper (1978)

Source:imcdb.org

Just after Smokey and the Bandit brought the title of Camaro killer to Pontiac, Burt Reynolds returns to do another movie, and drive another Trans Am. This time it is T/A with Mayan Red paint job and without T-tops. The first time we see it in action is in the second half of the film, and when it poked out, we saw a car prepared to jump over a 325-foot gorge. It was without the rear seats (had to put a rocket booster somewhere) and with some great looking deep-dish chrome wheels.
