The price tag on a base 1964.5 Mustang read $2320.96. However, the MSRP of an entry-level V-6 Hatchback today stands at $23,800. How did that happen? Well, inflation. That’s how. If we were to adjust for inflation, the base 1964.5 Mustang would go for $17,867 in 2015 cash. However, we can all see that the 2015 Mustang is quite better in all segments.
