8. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II
December 1993, Mitsubishi releases the Lancer Evolution II. The car is dubbed as an awesome update to the successful previous version. Mitsubishi enlarged the wheelbase and made room for larger and wider tires due to the need for bettered handling. The engine also received an upgrade. The old 2.0-liter turbo got a bump to 256 hp (191 kW). Remember that the import laws apply to the actual vehicle, but not the model in general so go and search for the updated Evo II but look for the earliest produced units.
