The welcoming of the new member to the Jeep family will happen at the Los Angeles Auto Show. We shall start our review with Jeep Renegade Deserthawk Limited Edition. The new model has greater functionality that its predecessor, the Trail Rated Trailhawk. Equipped with 17-inch black finish wheels, rock rails and the Trailer Tow Group with a Class III hitches, this Trailhawk offspring will be offered to customers in Alpine White, Black, Anvil and the Deserthawk-exclusive Mojave Sand set off paints with customized hood and graphics on the rear-panel.

The limited issue vehicle includes different interior with black leather seats that bring Light Frost stitching and accents, cargo tray mat, and all-weather floor mats.

2017 Renegade Deserthawk

The 2017 Renegade Deserthawk will run on 180-horsepower delivered by 2.4-liter four cylinder Tigershark/MultiAir2 engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle will use Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4 system with a 20:1 crawl ratio. The new model will also feature the Select-Terrain system with exclusive Rock mode, Hill Descent Control, underbody skid plates and an off-road suspension that grants 8.7-inches of ground clearance along with 8.1-inches of travel. The final product will hit the market in January, and it will be priced at $29,135.

Another Jeep vehicle which will be showcased at LA Auto Show is the Renegade Altitude model. This SUV will feature a characteristic black-accent package from the Latitude trim and buyers will be free to select the color of the exterior. However, the 18-inch Gloss Black wheels and a selection of Gloss Black trim bits are mandatory. The passenger compartment includes black premium cloth upholstery which matches the High Gloss Black and Metal Diamond accents.

Renegade Altitude Specs

There are two power options for the Renegade Altitude. First is the 160-horsepower/1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo four teamed with a 6-speed manual and the second is the 2.4-liter 180 hp Tigershark MultiAir2 engine with 9-speed automatic. The price of the 2017 Jeep Renegade Altitude will be starting from $23,385, and it will be available for buyers later this month.
