The 2019 Ram 1500 is the new offspring of Ram that is under Fiat Chrysler Automobiles with which they might hit a home run. On these photos, we see the new pickup with a tailgate that might have the same shape like the one that we saw earlier, which means that the rumors about light-duty 1500 in a Mega Cab version might be true.
The contours of the tailgate are very similar to the ones we saw on the leaked photos from dealer meeting which happened last month. Like that, this tailgate also has light-collecting scalloping which makes the rear end look raw. Although we can see in the photos that this test vehicle has the same front clip like the Ram 1500 Limited, they probably plan on working on that too.
The interior will also be upgraded, and some say that it will have the gadgets from the Chrysler Pacifica minivan which is ultra luxurious. The new cabin space will feature an updated Uconnect infotainment interface with a rear-seat “Theater” entertainment system.
2019 Ram 1500 Mega Cab Release date
The company did not put a lot of effort in concealing their new pickup since we had many chances to see it lately. The truck was usually seen with a heavy camouflage leaving us the conclusion that Ram plans on launching it with the cab version.
Judging from the company’s previous Mega Cab models, the 2019 Ram 1500 M-C might offer more spacious legroom than any other ½-ton pickup. It is expected for the new version to have its formal debut in January at the 2017 North American International Auto Show.
