Citroën introduced the new C3

After few teasers and “leak” of few photos, French car manufacturer, decided officially to introduce the new generation of the Citroën C3 model. For closer look and more details we will have to wait for this year Paris Auto Show.

As soon as we take a look at this model, we can notice similarities with C4 Cactus from which it has borrowed front end, Airbump door protective plastics and similar. At the back, we can see the influence of the DS3 model, especially for the tail lights. Furthermore floating roof effect and finishing lines of the roof are obviously DS3 inspired.

In Motion
Citroen will offer huge customization options that include nine different colors that can be combined with three roof colors making it available in a total of 36 possible combos. To complement the unique looks of exterior, the interior also comes in four different versions. Our favorite certainly is the Urban Red option that shows red stitching and red dashboard details.
Interior has also been influenced by Cactus but still, there are few differences. The Connect Nav system uses 7-inch touchscreen while the standard and optional equipment list will be quite impressive no matter for which market this model is delivered.

Clearly, French car maker devoted a lot of attention to both infotainment and safety. Just to give you insight, new Citroën C3 will be equipped with hill start, lane departure system, blind spot monitoring, driver awareness monitor, rearview camera and more.
Citroën C3 Technology

Among the things that we need to praise further is the ConnectedCam that comes with wide angle camera, GPS and Internet connection. This way you can easily and fast send images of the car surroundings to social networks plus you can also make short videos.

The engine lineup will include three-cylinder PureTech units with 68, 82 and 110 hp. More popular small turbocharged diesel units that are part of BlueHDI family will come with 75 and 100 hp. Depending what option you choose you will be getting manual transmission as standard and six-speed automatic transmission as optional.

Dashboard

More details regarding this model will be available soon. This includes both price and release date so stay tuned.
