Dodge Journey to begin production in Italy by 2019

Dodge Journey is a practical and versatile, but it somehow remained off the radar for many customers looking for a decently equipped SUV. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is now striving to change that in a way that will put the Journey on the new platform with rear-wheel drive setup.

According to our source, the Dodge Journey for 2019 will be manufactured in Italy, and will use the same mechanical platform on which rests the Alfa Romeo Giulia. As for other details are concerned, they are quite scarce at the moment, but it seems that the new generation of Dodge‘s model has a lot of to share with future crossover that is being prepared by Alfa Romeo and which will apparently take the name of “Stelvio”.
