Tacoma underwent a redesign in 2016 which brought up good-looking small truck with massive off-road pedigree. If it wasn’t for the plain looking interior, and simple infotainment system Toyota Tacoma would be at the top of our list. Safety, on the other hand, is top-notch with some segments of it being above-average in the entire class. Fuel economy is similar to what competitors offer.
Starting price of $24,320 makes it one of the most expensive small trucks in America. With additional packages and equipment, Tacoma’s cost will only increase, with fully-loaded model reaching $40,000. But on the right side, it offers a powerful V-6 mill which makes it a beast on off-road terrains.
