19. 1974 Volkswagen Golf
The Volkswagen Golf is a legendary car, and just like every other entrant on the list, it is created by Italdesign. It was a replacement for the Beetle, and it was as boxy as you could imagine. A hotter GTI version arrived two years later, while some of the newer Golfs, especially those from the 1990s are still widely popular in some ex-Yugoslavian republics.
