3. Pontiac GTO – Goat
Pontiac GTO is one of the most iconic cars on the American market. Despite that, nobody can tell you for sure how its nickname came to be. The GTO appeared in 1964 as a performance version of the Tempest and instead of saying “Gee-Tee-Ouh” people referred to this car as “Goat.”
