18. Subaru 360 – Ladybug
Beetle name was already claimed by Volkswagen, and there was nothing else for Subaru to do except to name its 360 model the Ladybug. This vehicle was highly popular in Japan in the 1960s, and it required a cute name of its own. The model remained popular even today among the collectors, and the name is not forgotten.
