3. Toyota Avalon Hybrid
With the 2019 model, Toyota’s flagship sedan will enter its fifth generation. As demonstrated at 2018 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, one of the options on the new model will be a hybrid drive. It will be powered by 2.5L 4-cylinder with a dual-motor CVT automatic, delivering a total of 208 horsepower. The new Camry, which uses the same engine combination, delivers north of 50 mpg, so Avalon will be probably in that ranges as well, although Toyota hasn’t released that info yet.
