Ford Bronco vs. Jeep Wrangler – The Battle of Australia

The FCA is going through a rough period with Chrysler 200 production being on the halt and Chrysler 300 coming next to execution block. The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is currently at a standstill, and older models are the ones that keep the company popular. One of them is the Jeep Wrangler who has been enjoying some great public attention for some time because of its current updates and because of its competitor, the new Ford Bronco.

The information that the Ranger and Bronco are coming back to America came from UAW 900 plant chairman, Bill Johnson. This is just an unofficial statement, and Ford did not make the official announcement. The Australian automotive publication additionally reassured us that these cars would be manufactured in the U.S. in years to come.

The new Bronco is currently being developed at the Ford Asia-Pacific Product Development Center in Victoria where also Ford’s T6 ladder platform is built. This platform is used on the Ranger and will be underpinning the new Bronco.

Ford Bronco Engine Options

Ford is expected to make modifications in order for the migrated platform to work on multiple body styles which would include two and four-door models. It is unlikely that the diesel options will be available in the U.S., but there is always an exception and we ought to see some V6 engines including twin-turbo EcoBoost units. Wanting to keep up with the competition, Ford has launched many softer SUV models, the new Bronco will definitely keep that raw and rugged look combined with excellent off-road capabilities.

At Ford, they do not leave anything to chance, so they bought the Rubicon version of the two and four-door Wrangler to test and compare it to the new Bronco which is not expected to debut anytime before 2020. Interesting tactics and looking everything we know so far it seems that Ford will have a competitive vehicle in its lineup.
