Ford Expedition for 2018 shows design inspired by the F-150

We already talk about 2018 Ford Expedition.

The Expedition, a large SUV from Ford, during a test in traffic, has shown the new looks of its front segment with a massive vertical radiator grille which to its left and the right side has implanted already well known and recognizable headlights.

Big and muscle hood and wheel arches are a testimony to its power while a pair of imposing front door looks (intentionally) reminiscent of those that we get on the Ford F-150. The curved rear windows and a massive tailgate, round up the exterior appearance of this large SUV.

As before on offer are the versions with standard and extended wheelbase. A longer version of the body will likely carry a label Expedition EL.

The only photo of the vehicle interior design confirms the impact of F-150 pickup.
It is expected that this SUV will be powered by EcoBoost V6 engine with a displacement of 3.5 liters. In this version, it will offer 370 hp and 568 Nm of torque.

There is also a speculation about the possibility of less powerful option with the engine of the same construction, but with a displacement of 2.7 liters capable of producing 329 hp and 507 Nm of torque.

Currently, there isn`t much more information about the new SUV, except the expectation to appear with the aluminum body of relatively low weight and with the automatic transmission with ten gears.
