Spy Shots: 2018 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster

After the 2018 Lamborghini Huracán Superleggera, the new 2018 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster prototype also went on a test drive. And you’re right, we have spy shots of the upcoming model and a batch of rumors and details.

Exterior Design Changes

The car has been updated with the more aggressive design. Both the front and the rear received design changes. In some photos you may notice the revised diffuser at the back with cool-looking three-part exhaust tip. The 2018 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster also features additional air vents. The taillights are keeping the familiar design, however you can see the difference of headlights design.

Engine and Performance

The 2018 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster will most likely be powered by a 6.5L V12 engine delivering at least 710 horsepower. A boost in performance is also possible. The ISR automated manual transmission is expected to return. Various modifications are expected to improve handling and driving.

LP 700-4 Release Date

According to our sources, the 2018 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster will make its debut to the world either in late 2016 or early next year. It will hit the showrooms in the second half of 2017. Since its debut, the Aventador managed to outsell the Murciélago by 127%, which was sold in 4,099 units. The Italian automaker managed to sell 643 units in the first half of this year. High sales are also expected for the upcoming model.
