It is not a strange thing to find 4x4a or type of cars that shouldn’t be found off-road, stuck in various kinds of outfield. Also, it is a common thing that their position gets funny, next to being a warning example. Seeing a humble ATV, or quad bike getting stuck is not something you see every day, especially considering the fact that All Terrain Vehicle, or ATV for short, is rugged, dependable, and can accomplish so much off the road. Therefore, it is used by farmers, hunters, and many people who need a job to be done, while sometimes people use it recreationally too. Let us show you what happens and how it looks like when a vehicle like that gets stuck.
This type of commercial photography, on fandbstories.com, can be very entertaining. If that is something you are interested in, there are a number of posts online to give you some tips and tricks.
20. Muddy Frontflip Faceplant
This photo, besides being hilarious, is a working example of the fact that you can never be careful enough, even with an ATV. Nobody wants to dive into mud, but apparently, it happens.
19. Beware The Mud
Surface Area with deep mud is obviously something that ATV has a hard time to handle. In case the mud is shallow, ATV can handle it like a champ, but like in this picture, mud is not that easy to pass.
18. Totally Over It
As you can see in this photo, the driver is so over the mud, the getting out of mud, everything. He is all like “leave me alone, I want nothing”. He probably tried to get himself out of the mud, failed and now is waiting disappointed.
17. Don’t Fall In Or Tip Over
Combination of mud and water is giving trouble this quad bike. Luckily, the driver of bright electric blue ATV has friends on the side, who are finding this funny but will eventually help him get out.
16. Trying To Help, But Getting Stuck Instead
A semi-desert landscape is usually the best for fun and adventure, but in this photo, we are pretty sure landscape was nothing like fun and adventure for this rather heroic girl on a quad bike. She tried to provide help, but instead got herself in a situation where she needs help herself.
15. Hopefully Whatever’s In The Box Isn’t Important
As seen in photo, this ATV is carrying a big and heavy box, but is stuck in the mud and will take a lot of help to get out. Whatever is in the box, hopefully, isn’t that important.
14. Hopeless To Even Try
Being stuck somewhere in the cold is not something anyone hopes to experience. This quad bike found deep snow a nice challenge and failed to overrun it.
13. Idyllic Except For The Mud
This machine looks like its engine flooded, or hydro-locked, and impossible to recover. It is a shame that with all these pretty trees, grass, and the whole scenery, the ATV got stuck so badly.
12. In A Lake In A Forest
Driver trying to move his ATV with some heavy pushing, while being surrounded with pretty flora, is not something you see every day. We hope he succeeded.
11. Left Behind And Dejected
This bumblebee yellow ATV seems almost abandoned in the mud. What is more likely is that the driver took a picture right before his friends helped him to get the machine out of the mud, or before he went on to seek for help in town.
10. Little One Stuck In Big Mud
The smaller ATV is the bigger are chances it will be dominated by the terrain. We are sure no one would let a child get stuck somewhere alone.
9. Never Expected Mud In The Desert
Getting yourself stranded anywhere is not fun at all, especially in the desert, in the sun, so we totally understand the look on this man’s face.
8. Not Enough Gas, Or Too Much
This photo was taken in Oceano Dunes, a popular destination for all ages of ATV lovers. We are sure this little girl was helped to free her ATV quickly.
7. Trying Really Hard To Get Free
Another photo of driver trying to free his ATV without any help. Will he make it? We hope so.
6. Stuck With Nowhere To Go
This fellow got himself stranded. He probably wanted to see how far he can make it with his ATV, getting closer to the water, and now it is a challenge to go back.
5. Pushing Through, Not Gonna Make It
After following the trail, this ATV driver approached a massive mud pit and got stuck. We admire his optimism and belief he will make it through.
4. River Of Sticky Mud
The whitish clay mud is one of the stickiest and thickest for a quad bike. When trying to get out of it, the tires dig in deeper the harder you try. You can see this driver is trying to get his machine cut loose, but the trap is too much for it.
3. Snow Too Deep
ATV is not good with snow. Of course it depends on the type of snow, how ATV can handle the terrain. In case the snow is hard packed and icy, ATV won’t have a problem, especially with knobby tires and good suspension, but in case of looser and deeper snow, ATV is helpless, as it is shown in this photo.
2. Stuck In A Steep Place
When getting stuck while driving ATV, you have three options: momentum, hitting the gas, or just waiting for help. It looks like the third option is the only one left for this driver.
1. Trying Their Best
This GoPro photo shows us two persons trying their best to free a quad bike out of the mud. We can’t say for sure how badly it is stuck, but we hope they will succeed in their mission.
