8.Saleen S7 Twin Turbo – 248 mph
When the S7 was introduced, it was a first mid-engined supercar produced by any U.S. company. It delivered 550 hp but the version we are talking about came a few years later with the same 7.0-liter V8 engine but this time with two turbos that pushed the power output to 750 hp. This was good enough for 0-60 mph sprint in 2.8 seconds and a quarter-mile run of 10.5 seconds. Top speed was another impressive thing about this machine as it could reach 248 mph.
