Chevrolet is famous for multiple muscle cars, with the Camaro being the most renowned. But nothing would have happened if it weren’t for the Chevelle SS. The Chevelle SS or Super Sport looked handsome, and it packed a massive V8 engine. The SS 454, for instance, had a 7.2-liter powerplant when it debuted, which was absolute madness. However, as the 1970s drew to a close, the emissions standards and insurance companies gradually killed off this Chevelle SS. But this car will always be in our hearts.
