6. Terrafugia Transition
We’re positive people in the 1950s thought cars would fly by now, but that hasn’t happened yet. Companies like Terrafugia aim to change all that. Although the Transition is work in progress, it’s strangled by laws and regulations. To operate it as a vehicle you’d need a valid driver’s license, and to fly it you’d need an actual pilot license. If they can figure out how to bypass all of that by giving it automated flying, we might see flying cars pop up all over the place.
