Three Aston Martin models are scheduled to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2017. The first one is the new Vanquish S followed by the AM-RB 001 which the company co-produced with Red Bull Advanced Technologies and which will have its European introduction. The last model is the part of the company’s Q by Aston Martin bespoke service that will unveil the Q by Aston Martin – Collection at 87th Geneva International Motor Show.
Q by Aston Martin was founded in 2012 and since then, it has been developing quite rapidly. Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman stated, “We set strong foundations for the service and we’ve had continued success, now we have the opportunity to work with our customers and take personalization to a different level.”
On offer is the Q by Aston Martin – Collection which features a range of distinctive design elements added to the model. The company’s Gaydon facility is in charge of installing and hand-finishing this combination of new luxuries and improvements that can be included in your vehicle.
Needless to say, Collection version features improvements which are not available as standard including options such as exclusive paint and upholstery colors, craft elements and material finishes. This option includes stuff like leather quilt upholstery pattern to tinted wheel finishes which match body-colored blades to the diamond turned spokes. Also, Collection trim offers the use of new wood and leather interior features.
This new, top of the line version will be incorporated in the DB11 which will be revealed in Geneva. The model features exclusive Zaffre Blue paint which matches gloss, satin twill and forged carbon fiber elements which include side sills, door mirrors, front splitter, hood strakes, and rear diffuser side strakes.
The interior of the vehicle is partly covered in Obsidian Black Semi-Aniline leather, and the headrest has the Q by Aston Martin Logo embroidered on it. Among other great elements are the carbon fiber wheel centers and engine cover. If you want to have a color matched four-piece luggage set, it is also offered through Collection by Aston Martin.
The next step of the company’s plan is ‘Q by Aston Martin – Commission.’ General Manager for the DB11 Q by Aston Martin service, Dr. Matthew Bennett stated, “It’s commissioning process, the customer is working much more closely with us here at Gaydon, The only limit is your imagination – every new commission starts with a blank sheet of paper.”
In developing ultra-limited run series with design elements which suit the regions and customers, Aston Martin’s global dealership network has help from the special department.
The sky is the limit for Q by Aston Martin – Commission. The best possible outcome for the luxury department of a luxury brand is the new and unique vehicle. Dr. Bennett said, “There is as much reward in the interaction with Aston Martin as there is in the final car. It is a journey.
