1. Honda Ridgeline
The youngest kid on the block comes only in a five-seat Crew Cab body style. But what puts it on the summit of small trucks segment are its safety features and advanced driver assistance technologies. The price tag is above its competitors, but with what standard Honda Ridgeline offers it’s merited all the way. Features such as bed audio system, an in-bed power outlet, and a built-in trunk are available only on this pickup.
The only critique that comes Ridgeline’s way is that interior looks like it belong in a sedan. But regardless of this, it is highly comfortable and spacious. When facing standard roads, it is the best ride in the class. One of the problems here is that it doesn’t come with AWD, so it’s not a beast on side roads.
But what really puts it above all other small trucks is the Honda Sensing suite which comes with lane keep assist, collision mitigation braking, forward collision warning, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.
With a lot more good than bad sides, this pickup is almost an ideal choice, but that comes at a price. The starting price for Honda Ridgeline is $29,475.
